This task is a bit peculiar because it is about justice, a word that is obscure. Did you notice that people often use this word when they are experiencing a negative emotion, such as jealousy or anger? It is as if they want the world to act in a certain way, but it does not. When did life behave the way we wanted it to?

The issue is the astronomical incomes of successful sports professionals compared to the lean income of other professionals, such as teachers, doctors, or lawyers – which seem fair to some people. Let us wake up and face the music: Sports is entertainment and targets billions of people who buy tickets to watch games, either at home or in stadiums. Of course, it must generate a great deal of income. Do other professionals serve such a large mass? How many students can a teacher have?

Others might view this as a glitch in our value system. Doctors, researchers, and scientists discover vaccines, invent new devices, and contribute to humanity in various ways, yet they make a fraction of what professional athletes earn. And what value do sports figures bring to the table? Entertainment? This shows that our value system is skewed.

I think the issue is not justice. What is justice? Does anyone know? I feel there is a type of economic determinism at work here. The larger the number of fans is, the more money you make. Can we even escape this? I find that unlikely.
